Two seventeen year old boys walked to school. It was their first day here and they were already enrolled into a school. To them just being enrolled in a new school was frustrating. One they had to go outside and two some people might think their tough enough to beat them. The red head, Phoenix, knew they would always lose for if you can't beat a police officer your not going to beat his kids either. Yet the worse part was they didn't know if their was any cameras around that could give them away yet the purple hair guy, Dragon, wanted so badly the sneak around the school and destroy things.
Suddenly two teens from it seemed like Taidoku walked right up to them. Sense they were on the road to Raijudo High school and two teen thought the two were from there and they were right.
Dragon backed away quickly as you could see anger to Phoenix's eyes. He just wanted to get to school and end the school day.
"What do you want?" Venom was dripping off his words. So much so it made the two teens flinch.
"If you have nothing to say move!" Phoenix was growling at this point and was crackling his knuckles ready to kill the two if needed. Dragon just back a few feet away so he wouldn't be in the line of fire. When he was named Phoenix it was the best name for him for each time he got mad it would look like the pits of hell opened up around him.
The two teens charged him yet it was over as fast as it began. In the end the two teens were hanging by their neck which were both in Phoenix's hand none the less. They had both fainted from lack of air. Phoenix smirked and threw them at one of the near by fences breaking it. Dragon nervously laughed as he followed Phoenix to school.

Shikyo's head was buried in a book again while she walked at a brisk pace along the road to school. Her head nodded rhythmically from side to side while she absorbed the contents of the book, losing sense of all around her.
The sound of a breaking fence made her jump a bit, the false tail plastered to her skirt stood up much like a normal feline. Shikyo whirled around and blinked her turquoise eyes at the sight of two unconscious teens had caused the noise. "Oh dear..." she whispered, her voice sounding more timid than intended.
She flipped the novel back in front of her eyes and took a few steps forward. Had she been an intelligent girl, she would have known to watch where she was going, but, mostly due to her own ignorance, wound up bumping into a person she didn't recognize, dropping her book and jumping back.
She lowered her upper body. "I-I'm really sorry!" she stammered, clasping her hand around the other and golding it in front of her face. She bent down to pick up her book and placed it gingerly into a dull yellow bag that hung from her shoulder. She blinked again as she studied the two in front of her. "Are you new here?" she asked quietly, tilting her head.

Phoenix put his kind face up. It was fake but he had done it for so long it looked very real. Dragon on the other hand just smiled.
"Yes we are and who might you be?" A gentle smile was place on Phoenix's face yet Dragon knew this act well.
Phoenix would act nice but if you didn't gain his trust he would just leave you to the wolves if you are ever in trouble. Oddly enough he knew how it felt. Dragon ratted on Phoenix once and when Dragon almost drown in rapids Phoenix wouldn't help at all until he said he was going to take it back. After that he never got of Phoenix's nerves agian.

Shikyo smiled back, "I'm, Shikyo Kage, pleased to meet you..." she whispered. Rather than extend her hand, she kept it clasped around the other, holding them close to her chest.
She closed her eyes momentarily, opening them again shortly after. "And, may I ask your names?" she inquired in her same timid voice. She moved her right hand to push a stray lock of hair the wind had blown behind her ear while she patiently awaited a reply.

Phoenix held out his hand and tilted his head with a smile.
"I'm Phoenix and this is my brother Dragon."
Dragon waved as Phoenix pointed to him.
"Don't mind him he isn't much of a talker. Wait do you go to Riajudo High School too?"
Dragon sighed yet shut up as he saw Phoenix take a glance at him. Bored Dragon looked up to the sky and saw gray clouds. Gray was the best color for today one they had to go to a new school and then they were a attacked things couldn't get worse.

Shikyo gave a single nod. "Yes, I'm a junior." she replied, silently delining the extended hand. She closed her eyes as a slight smile formed on her lips. Her eyes flicked open quickly.
The bag slung over her shoulder swayed in a breeze, pushing it at her legs while her hair swung wildly around her face, nearly knocking her headband off. She pulled the stray hair back in place and adjusted the accessory.

An older man in a beige suit and young man in a blue school uniform walked up to the school's gates. The older man noticed the two unconscious students, and his son gasped and went over to check on them. The older man suddenly felt less confident about this town. He noticed two boys and a girl and went over to talk to them.
"Excuse me," he said. "What happened here?"

Shikyo whirled around. Her eyes went wide for a moment and she lowered herself into a deep bow.
"I-I'm sorry, I really don't know what happened!" she stammered, her voice remaining peculiarly quiet compared to that of most teens her age.

The older man scowled a bit. He then bowed deeply and stated, "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable."
He straightened out and glanced over the younger man, who was checking the other boys' pulses and breathing. He then looked back to the students and said, "My name is Akinari Kashihara. I just started a teaching job here." He paused and motioned over to the younger man in blue. "That's my son Jun. He's supposed to start at Taidoku. Do any of you know the safest way to get there from here?"

Shikyo closed her eyes for a moment, as if in thought. Suddenly, her turquoise orbs flew open while a sly smile crossed her face, replacing itself with one of kindness.
"If you want the quickest route, I suggest you take the path to your left." her eyes turned to Jun. "But, you may want to reconsider the school itself... considering all the gangs and whatnot..." Her eyes shifted to the floor. 'Raijudo doesn't need a new rival anyway...' she whispered mentally.
"But then again, Raijudo's got quite the repuatation!" she kidded, hiding her shy veneer.

"Thank you," Jun said quietly. He stood and bowed politely. "I'm not too worried about the gangs. I'm not interested in the violence or social structure there."
He glanced over to his father, who was looking uncomfortable at this point. The older man was chewing on his bottom lip and his arms were crossed over his chest. Jun offered a shy smile and added, "Please, be nice to my father if you have him in class. He works very hard for his students."

Shikyo blinked for a moment, before bowing quickly, making an odd sort of squeek. "I-I wouldn't be a problem if I were his student... It'd be like i wasn't even there..." she whispered the last part before she regained her straight posture.
She closed her eyes in contemplation. 'He seems rather uptight... But he's a teacher and I promised Futaba that I'd do my best...' she thought.
"I didn't introduce myself, have I? My name is, Shikyo Kage. As you already seem to know, I'm a student at Raijudo."

"I'm Jun Kuro... Kashihara," said Jun as he bowed politely. He scowled a little at his near slip. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Kage. I'm sorry if I came off as rude... It wasn't my intention."
He pulled out a flower and handed it to her. He explained, "I-it's for luck..." in a nervous tone.

Shikyo stared blankly at the flower before sticking it into her headband and smiling. "Thank you very much, Jun-kun! I wish I could give you something in return." she whispered, the smile leaving her face.

"No problem," said Jun. "Flowers are calming, and you seemed a bit nervous, too."
(Ack! It seems like he's flirting now...)
Jun chewed on his lip a bit as glanced over to the others for a moment. His father still seemed worried, since he was now loosening his collar and tie. That only made the boy feel worse about his current position. So far, the move to Saita City seemed to do more harm than good.

Shikyo sweatdropped. "I guess you were right." she mumbled, rubbing the back of her neck. Her eyes took on a slightly worried sheen.
"Hey, are you OK?" she asked, sensing something slightly askew. Her own instincts told her something was wrong yet her mind told her to ignore it. 'It's nothing, stop worrying--' 'Oh, shut up' she yelled at herself.

He fiddled with his watch a bit and made eye contact with Shikyo. He asked, "Are you all right?"

Shikyo broke eye contact immediately. "Just nifty." she replied curtly. 'Does it look like something's wrong?' she asked herself, slightly curious now.
"What makes you think I wasn't OK?" she asked timidly, hoping not to strike any nerves with the sudden question.

He took a blue flower from his breast pocket and stroked its petals.

Shikyo smiled. 'A...defense mechanism?' she asked herself, maintaining a placid expression. 'He said he was also new to the city...' she added as an afterthought. 'Could something have happened that forced him to move? Oh, quit wondering about things you shouldn't stick your nose in!' she finally yelled at herself.
